I created TAXO'D to solve my own tax challenges as a freelancer, designing and architecting every aspect of the platform from the ground up. To be the world's first Tax app for the self-employed.

I scaled it from concept to a full-service fintech solution on a micro-budget, leading product strategy and managing a cross-country team, though I didn’t handle the actual development. My work included re-architecting complex HMRC self-assessment APIs, designing an AI-powered transaction categorization system, building a seamless automated tax engine with direct HMRC integration, and implementing FCA compliance protocols (AISP and PISP). I secured an InnovateUK AI Innovation Grant (2022), developed key partnerships with major financial institutions, and designed a responsive, mobile-first interface that increased user engagement by 40%.
